Curator note
Leelou has been waiting on this room for thirty-seven months. The window faces north. The light only does this in May, and only for a minute. We agreed to release the first piece on the gallery's first day. The series will not number more than seven.
First in a series. Photographed at the moment a north window stops carrying the day. The negative is unmodified. The print is what was there.
